Finding the correct breast shield size can be complicated and confusing, but with our handy measuring the tool, the process of measuring your nipple and choosing your shields is a whole lot easier. Our silicone measuring tool is soft, skin friendly, and reliable to last you a long time.

It is vital to have the correct breast shield size, as a shield too big or too small can be uncomfortable, plus, your milk output will be affected. We also recommend to measure your nipples once you have given birth, as your nipple size will change from pregnancy. Your size can also fluctuate throughout your pumping journey, so it is normal if you need a different size at a different stage. Always measure both nipples, as they may not necessarily be the same size (they're sisters not twins!). 

    Guidance

    How to use:

    1. Insert your nipple into the hole that fits your nipple the most comfortably. Take note of the hole measurement, and then you need to add 3-5mm, to find your closest breast shield size. For example if you measure 20mm, your shield size will fit best ranging from 23-25mm (Spectra 24mm Shield). 
    2. Find the correct breast shield size: A correct fitting shield is vital for comfort & milk output.
    3. Measure after given birth: your nipple size will change from pregnancy. Your size can also fluctuate throughout your pumping journey, so it is normal if you need a different size at a different stage.
    4. Measure both nipples: As they may not necessarily be the same size (they're sisters not twins!).
